With a lighter weight aluminum body and a choice between two upgraded six cylinder engines both featuring direct injection,  the 2013 Boxster boasts slightly more power than previous versions. Porsche has also unveiled a number of fuel saving features which promise to reduce fuel consumption as well.

The changes Porsche fans will notice right away have to do with the styling. The dimensions have changed, the windshield has been brought further forward, and the interior is much roomier. Outside, the head lights have been reshaped, and the rear end features a sleek new spoiler among other changes.

Kelley Blue Book, the company that has become the leading source for new and used car pricing data,  released their picks for the top ten used cars with a Blue Book value under $8,000 as of December 2011. In compiling their list, Kelley considered a number of factors other than price including reliability and versatility.

Whether you are on a tight budget or just in the market for a used car, the vehicles on their top ten list are certainly worth considering.
